Divine Comedy Video Sneak Peak

The creative team at Emagine are currently overseeing Art Direction and Story Boarding for the new music video for The Divine Comedy.

Emagine's creative team have been tasked with creating a look and feel for the video of the new single, (details of which will be announced later this week) and with project managing the creative and production processes.

Green-screen shooting for the video (Co-directed by Neil and Emagine's creative director, Brian Hickey) was completed on March 26. You can see some behind the scenes photos above taken by Sean McDermot, head of post production work on the project and Brian Hickey.

Fans of The Divine Comedy will not only be delighted to see Neil starring in the video but they'll also have the chance to catch a glimpse of Neil's impressive collection of classic 12" singles and EPs.

The new single, written and produced by Neil Hannon, is taken from the forthcoming album, Bang Goes The Kinighthood. The video, currently in the post-production stage, is due fro release in April 2010 and the album will follow soon after on May 31st.
