Duckworth Lewis Method on Display
Earlier this year, Emagine Media's Creative Director, Brian Hickey, was selected as an Exhibiting Designer at Design Week 2009.
Design Week is an annual, week long celebration of design, which takes the form of a series of events throughout Ireland. This year, Waterford City played host to the "Designed In Ireland" exhibition, which took place from the 2nd to the 14th November 2009 in Waterford City Council Central Library.
Among the work featured in the exhibition was Emagine Media's creative solutions for The Duckworth Lewis Method's music packaging and the Theatre Royal's brand redevelopment. The exhibition showcased a wide spectrum of projects from many design disciplines.
Said Macus Notely, organiser of the event, "We want to celebrate and promote the diversity of design and designers in our region."
Applications for the event were made from designers working in a variety design diciplines including graphic, furniture, fashion, product, web, interior, garden, theatre set, jewellery design, photography and architecture. The successful entrants were required to meet the highest quality design standards in their field of expertise.
