Web Developer Wanted
Emagine Media is looking for a web developer who is organised and energetic and passionate about what they do. We require a web developer who is meticulous and sweats the details. We are an established, energetic company working from the Waterford/Dublin areas and require a developer who can work with our production team in Waterford on a regular basis.
The job role is:
- To consult with our design department to find creative solutions to technical problems
- Developing websites from pre-approved designs within content management systems
- Bespoke programming within language frameworks
- Developing new products for the company and its' clients
You must have a strong background in the following skills:
- Very strong knowledge of all of the following: OOP - PHP/MYSQL/Linux/SVN - AJAX/JQuery - xHTML/CSS - cross browser compatibility
- Experience working within programming frameworks: Zend, Code Ignitor, etc
- Experience working with Content Management Systems and integrating designs into the same
- Knowledge of accessibility principles and code compliance
- A bonus would be knowledge of:
- Experience in developing for Facebook,
- iPhone app development
- Linux Hardware
- Expression Engine
- Good UI and design principles
You personally must:
- Be able to complete a job from start to finish, including project management.
- Work well with a team of people and clients.
- Have good communication and problem solving skills.
- Have the ability to work to a deadline, either with a team or working alone.
- Be flexible and be a quick learner and have the ability to adapt to new situations and technologies.
