The Megapixel Myth
With the launch of the latest Nikon D3x with a whopping 24.5 megapixels last month, someone asked me what is the deal with megapixels, and how much difference does it make?
Sure, I wouldn't say no to a new D3x, it looks like an amazing piece of equipment and it's light metering is apparently leaps and bounds beyond that of my D200, but when you compare it to last year's D3 with ONLY 12.1 megapixels, is it THAT much better at over €6000?
