Irish Council for Bioethics

In a move to create a logo that was more flexible and up-to-date, The Irish Council for Bioethics asked Emagine Media to develop a new brand identity that reflected the academic nature of the organisation’s workbut also had a softer and more friendly feel
than their existing brand.


The primary icon is the Tree of Life, a cross cultural symbol. The branches are created from 3 interlocking circles, representing Ethics and Philosophy and SocialCommentary - the three strands within which the organisation carries out its work.

The new brand is currently being rolled out across a range of collateral that includes a website, stationery suite and presentation folder.
